Limitations to this approach

What I'm doing is getting the form design and walking down all the fields defined in that form. I'm not sure if it would pick up shared fields or things on subforms as those are defined elsewhere.

It also won't pick up fields added to a document that aren't defined in the form. (Very easy to do in formula and LotusScript.

The only other work-around would be to read a document in which you *know* all the fields were defined then walk down the item list of the document grabbing the field names and building the view.
